Sri Maha Bodhiya-

One of the oldest trees in the world. Buddhists worship this sacred Bo tree.

Ruwanvali Maha Saya-

One of the biggest stoopas in the Asian region. It was built by the King Dutugamunu in the ancient days.

Adams Peak-

Temple in a top of a mountain. This is worshiped by Buddhists, Hindus and Christians.

Dalada Maligawa-

Tooth relics of the Lord Buddha is kept in this temple.

Sri Lanka has a proud history starting from late  6th century B. C. A great civilisation developed in the ancient cities of Anuradhapura  and Polonnaruwa. The kings who ruled during this period built lots of Buddhist temples, lakes and palaces. King Kashyapa built his kingdom on top of the Sigiriya rock.

Natural waterfalls of Sri Lanka also added to its beauty. These places attract most tourists. The golden beaches surrounding the island added to its aesthetic value too. Sunshine falls to these beaches throughout the day time. Forests, animals, flowers and birds also attracts tourists.
